The beach view here is really nice. Great place.

The accommodation was great, and the place itself was good, just 50-100 meters from the beach. The tap water smelled a bit, though I don't think that's anything to do with Megi Beach House. Since all the guests share the stoves, you may prefer to eat at restaurants in the town center. Recommended.

Megi Beach House is a good choice if you're going to Baler on a modest budget. The price is reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the environment feels safe. It's near the beach, and the owner is always around checking that guests are safe and comfortable.

We had no electricity from 11pm to 8am, then it came back for an hour before going out again until we checked out. There was no water during the outage either, since the water system runs on electricity. The caretaker, or whoever he was, said the generators were faulty. They also don't clean the aircons. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'd only suggest this as a last resort. The room air conditioning wasn't working, there was no wifi or fridge, and no complimentary drinking water. I wouldn't recommend staying in the room.
