The room was clean and near the beach, but my stay was still the worst at a transient place I've had. The owner didn't seem approachable, and never smiled or even said good morning to guests. Her expression and manner didn't feel welcoming. The toilet light was out, so I showered in the dark. There was no heater, the water was cold, and we weren't given towels.

There's convenient parking right in front of the hotel, and the beach is about 250 m away, with swimming and great surfing opportunities. Our room was clean and well kept, with fresh sheets, but no towels, so luckily we'd brought our own. The AC was quiet and worked nicely. There was no water heater, and the WiFi didn't work in the room, only on the balcony. We booked through Agoda.

We hadn't booked before heading to Baler, and most transient places were full by the time we arrived. A tour guide helped us find this one. For seven people, we were offered a rate of 3500p per night, while other places were 4500-7500, though those were beachfront and looked like they lacked hygiene. The room was clean, the CR was good, and there was plenty of parking. We could use the kitchenware and utensils, and renting the kitchen cost 400p for three uses, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast and lunch were on the menu but not included. The keeper also helped us with tips about places around Baler.

The room was great, especially how clean it was. Sabang Beach and the town proper are both within walking distance, and there are some really good restaurants and bars close by.

We only spent one night here, but it was a great stay. The owners were attentive and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. The beach is just a short walk away, and the price felt right.
