It’s a nice, quiet resort with a small pool, swings, and a bar area, and it looks lovely at night when the lights come on. Food is cheap, so price isn’t a worry. I wanted to try the pizza but didn’t have time to order. The air-conditioned rooms were clean, though the AC units were old and really loud. The bathroom needs a thorough cleaning, since acidic grime has built up on the fixtures. Service was okay, but ask for toiletries if they aren’t there. Be kind to the OJTs, as I think most of the workers are trainees. There are other activities, but we didn’t try them. We stayed just one night. The resort is beside a port used only by small boats. There are fish cages in the sea, so I’m not sure it’s safe to swim. At low tide, it’s nice to explore and walk around the mangroves, just be careful not to damage them.

The staff were really kind and accommodating. We were the only guests at the whole resort, but they generously opened almost all the facilities for us. The beach didn’t look safe to swim at, but there’s a pool you can enjoy. I loved the pool. 👌

The food was excellent, and the restaurant’s design and seaside setting made for a lovely, relaxed meal by the quiet fish port. There’s even a little nook like a treehouse to sit in. The frustrating part was the wait: it took over an hour for our food, though we were the only guests there.

The property has a lovely beach-paradise feel, and the bar has a good selection of wine, beer, and cocktails. We stayed in a small hut with a separate bathroom next door. Both were clean, and we had fresh towels, soap, toilet paper, and shampoo. The evening swim was comfortable with the pool at just the right temperature, and there’s a whirlpool for relaxing too. Christian, the manager, was an angel and helped with everything we asked for. You can also rent scooters, mountain bikes, surfboards, and a kayak.
