The owners were very helpful and accommodating. It’s a quiet spot, but close enough to walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, and everything else. There’s a lovely outdoor area to relax in, and all the facilities you need.

The hosts were wonderful. Typhoon Julian left me stranded for an extra five days, and they were considerate enough to give me a discount. I stayed from 22 Sep to 04 Oct 2024, booking through a travel app. At the time, the only option was a two-bed room. Each bed can fit two adults, and it worked out to around PHP 450/pax/night. Breakfast was free on the first and last days. There’s also a kitchen if you’d rather cook, and a terrace with a nice, if small, ocean view. The homestay is about 12 minutes on foot from the airport and four minutes from the town proper. If I get to visit Batanes again, I’ll keep it in mind.

It’s a peaceful spot with some trees, still within walking distance of the town proper. The owners were considerate and hospitable, and their cogon trike was handy since you can’t just hail a trike there. We enjoyed our stay.
