Dreamwave Hotel Lemery

The staff were helpful, but the hotel needs serious renovation. The room felt outdated and unwelcoming, with stained furniture. I booked a Deluxe room, then asked to move after a few hours because its window AC barely worked. The second room was a little better, though it still didn’t cool well. Based on my stay, I wouldn’t recommend the Deluxe room or the hotel.

I booked through Agoda months ahead, then got a cancellation notice less than 24 hours before check-in while I was already traveling there. Their excuse was “Temporary closure/Broken hotel facilities/Renovation.” What a joke.

The staff member who showed up was friendly, thanks to him. The room was old and the door was hard to close. There was a dead spider by the glasses and old water in the boiling pot. The sink leaked, there was no shower door, and the room had no window. The hotel seemed clearly derelict, there wasn’t really anything to do nearby, and the supposed “gym” didn’t exist.

The front desk staff were nice, and for what we paid, the stay was okay. The room had a weak air conditioner and damaged lampshades. In the comfort room, the damaged door was hard to shut, and there was barely enough space to move around and close it properly.
