There was plenty to enjoy on the property, from the beach and spa to the game room, bowling alley, and more. We had a lot of fun and would recommend it, especially to families. Getting there was a beautiful, enjoyable drive, and we loved the location. On arrival, their system was down, so we couldn't get our room keys, though they let us into the room. Without the keys, we had no lights or AC for the first two hours, but they eventually came on. There was also a mix-up with our spa appointment and it had to be rescheduled. They offered an extra spa treatment for the trouble, which we really enjoyed.

The location and views are fantastic, and the staff service was perfect, but the stay itself wasn't good. Our first room had a terrible bathroom smell, a broken sink, and no slippers, so we asked to move. The next room was better, though its shower was broken too and the smell, while improved, still wasn't great. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was awful, with food that wasn't tasty at all. Service dragged, and we had to go to the bar ourselves to find our wine. The property has a lot of potential, but there's plenty that needs work before it feels like good value or a good hotel experience.

The people made this stay stand out. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and Samae deserves a special mention for her warmth, professionalism, and real care. Our family also enjoyed the clean pools, which worked well for children and adults, plus easy beach access. The grounds were well maintained and surrounded by beautiful nature, with complete facilities. We had a great stay at Pico Sands and will definitely return. I'd recommend it to families or anyone after a relaxing, hassle-free break.

We spent three days at Pico Sands Hotel, surrounded by the mountains, lagoon views, and a private beach. The service was gracious, the rooms modern and clean, and the stocked minibar was a treat. The balconies were great for lingering over coffee and staring out at the scenery. One snag was having just one keycard per room, which also runs the electricity. After a day at the beach, we came back to a warm room because the air conditioning had been off while we were out. Staff were attentive and quick to help, bringing towels, offering rides, and greeting us warmly. Between the calm lagoon and beach club access, it was a relaxing resort stay, with some awkward timing on the room temperature. Pack patience, and bring an appetite for the beach.

We had plenty to do, including cove tours, hikes, biking, and snorkeling. Our room was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views that made it hard to leave. The staff were friendly, engaging, and always happy to help, and there were lots of dining choices. It was a relaxing, fun stay at Pico Sands Hotel. Thanks to the whole team.
