At about $80 on a regular weekday, the price is hard to justify. The room, elevator, and facilities all feel old and worn. Google Maps photos look polished, but to me this felt more like a $10 hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. 😊 🥲

The venue was satisfactory overall for the seminar I attended there from August 21st to 23rd, 2025. I did notice a possible safety issue with the elevator door sensor, which could be risky for people who aren’t familiar with it.

We came to Hotel Ariana in Bauang, La Union for a birthday party in the function hall. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and there’s a large parking area behind the building. It isn’t cemented, though, so it may be dusty on dry days. The common areas looked a little dated but seemed maintained. There’s an elevator, and I think the building is around five floors. We didn’t book a room, so I can’t speak to the accommodations. Without staying overnight, I can’t give a full rating, but it seems like a decent events venue.

The first-floor rooms are good. Upstairs, the rooms are too small, the air conditioner is noisy, and there’s a smell like old cloth that’s been unused for years.

The manager is really friendly and helpful, and the service was good. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, and the water heater works. The showerhead needs replacing, though, and the exhaust fan is very loud. Breakfast is usually served around 7 to 9am, but they can get it to you sooner if you’re in a rush. Parking is available, with the beach and a convenience store just across the highway.
