Chalaroste Place by SMS Hospitality

The room was big, the bed and mattress were perfect for us, 190m X 200, and the internet was good at 29mb. I paid about 2000peso a night, but the normal price is too high. The place and pool are nice, and the shower has warm water. The WC has no plastic offset but works perfectly and is clean. The concrete floor looks dirty even though it’s clean, but at least it isn’t slippery. The window-type aircon wasn’t really adjustable, loud, and either too cold or too warm. We had condensation on the wall. Light and shadows.

We traveled a long way for a family vacation and ended up deeply disappointed. We came back to Chalaroste on february 17 2026, hoping to repeat the wonderful time we’d had before, but the trip turned into a disaster. We booked early and sent the requested down payment right away for four beachfront rooms. I checked several times that the reservation was secure, and was assured each time that everything was settled. Still, our rooms were given to other guests, causing a lot of inconvenience and frustration. I hope they stop accepting bookings when they can’t properly accommodate them. From 10/10 to 0/10.

A quiet, peaceful place that was great for unwinding. The shared kitchen was handy for cooking and eating together, and the swing gave the place a fun, relaxed feel. The room was simple but comfortable enough. The pool uses ocean water, which is a cool, unusual touch, though it may not suit everyone. The sunset views aren’t the best, but the atmosphere makes up for that. its closed in enchanted cave.

We found the resort relaxing and satisfying, and I’m not sure why earlier reviews were bad. The whole property was clean, including the pool, and the room was clean with cold AC. The shower head was partly clogged with dirt, but I fixed it easily :D The waves were too high because of an approaching storm, so we didn’t enjoy the beach. They also let guests borrow cooking equipment. 5/5 for me, and I’ll definitely return :)
