The unlabeled little toiletry bottles were confusing, and there was no drinking water at all. We were a group of six and had to bring everything from Manila to Bolinao, with the car already packed. I understand guests bring their own supplies, but not even a small bottle was provided. The beach also wasn’t safe for swimming, with sharp rocks and tides that seemed to shift quickly, though the pools were clean all day, cleaned daily, four feet deep, and great for relaxing. The property is lovely, quiet, and well cared for, and the cabins are nice. We stayed in Marcel. But plumbing problems really got in the way: one of our three bathrooms had a blocked shower drain, and the main kitchen sink was clogged too. The caretakers came back several times and tried hard to sort it out with what they had. Management apologized, but the problem seemed deeper than something liquid sosa could fix. Having repair attempts go on during our stay made it hard to unwind, especially for the price. We appreciated the staff’s effort, but got no compensation or other consideration beyond “Apologies for this.” It’s a small thing, but none of the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion bottles had labels, so we couldn’t tell them apart and may have mixed them up. In the end, the inconveniences outweighed the peaceful setting and nice pools for us. The place wasn’t worth the eight-hour drive from Manila.

The long drive was the main drawback for us, about six to seven hours from Manila with a one-hour stop, which felt like a lot unless you’re specifically after a road trip. Still, the owners have made this feel like a little sanctuary in Bolinao. We went as 12 adults and two kids and booked the Maramag and Marcel villas. Their pool was right beside them, and it felt as if we had the whole lodging to ourselves. They really did give us the privacy we wanted for a vacation. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning worked fine. Kitchen gear and utensils, bathroom toiletries, and towels were all there. The shower heater wasn’t working, but the water wasn’t as cold as we expected, so it wasn’t a big deal. There’s a restaurant next door, which made meals convenient since there aren’t many noticeable restaurants in the area. Enchanted Cave is about 10-15 minutes away. The staff were very accommodating, especially Kuya Nick, Kuya Renz, and Kuya Roderick, who kept an eye on us and were attentive throughout. We had a really relaxing, amazing long weekend with the family.

The beachfront had a lovely view and clean white sand, and the infinity pool was kept clean and well maintained. Our villa room was spacious and very comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a few small issues: only Globe worked in this area, and I had to head to the lighthouse to get Smart signal. Cable TV was unreliable too. Our cabin door locks were either faulty or hard to operate, and the furniture had a few stains and bits of damage. Food can take a while since orders come from Hotel G's restaurant, so bringing or cooking your own may be easier. Still, this beach area is seriously underrated. The cabin was spacious for 10k a night, with updated appliances, dependable internet, nice furniture, and a clean modern look throughout. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole area felt secure. The pool was always warm, and there were good places to lounge, with a firepit or grill available if requested. The soft white beach is roomy and makes it easy to relax. One thing they could improve is privacy inside the rooms. When the blinds are open, other guests can see in. One-way windows or mirror film might let in sunlight without giving up privacy.

The beach was clean, and the sunset was lovely from the pool or right by the room. Inside, the rooms were excellent, with such good soundproofing that outside noise didn’t disturb us at night. It’s a peaceful spot, and very disconnected. There was no phone signal or just a weak one, and no internet. That made it a nice chance to spend time with loved ones the old-fashioned way. You can bring your own food and drinks, or order from the restaurant next door and eat outside.
