Bohol Beach Club Resort

The waitress who served us each day was the highlight for me and my boyfriend. I think her name was Gracey. She greeted us with a smile, was friendly and attentive, and went out of her way to help every time. She made us look forward to each meal and really added to our stay. The restaurant had lots of choices, and the food was both delicious and very reasonably priced. We were there for the last three nights of our travels, after visiting many lovely resorts, and this one impressed us from the start. The front desk ladies helped us check in, gave us a map, and explained what we needed to know. Our room was beautiful, spotless, with a huge, cozy bed. The on-site activities were a nice extra, including ATV rides, banana boats, kayaks, and snorkeling.

The beach is fantastic, with white sand and turquoise water, the best one in panglao. The staff were so welcoming, and although it’s a bit far from the center, the restaurant serves good food at affordable prices. We loved our stay and would come back.

The location is the big draw, with soft sand, clear water, and a great spot for snorkeling. It feels like a peaceful haven away from Alona’s madness. We had the Green room, which was only so-so, so get a better room if your budget allows. The restaurant looks out over the beach and sea, but feels like a giant canteen and lacks atmosphere. The food is pretty good, and the separate little pizza place makes good pizzas. There’s no bar, which feels like a missed opportunity.

The people are what make Bohol Beach Club stand out. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The service felt warm, thoughtful, and attentive without being forced. The nearby marine preserve was a highlight for snorkeling. The reefs were vibrant and healthy, unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere, and there was abundant marine life that was easy to reach from the beach. The local guides at the beach club were knowledgeable and professional, and clearly cared about protecting the reef while helping guests enjoy it. The setting is stunning, with broad stretches of soft white sand and clear turquoise water that almost doesn’t seem real. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the Phillipines.
