Bermuda Hotel and Restaurant

We only needed a room overnight and had a good time staying here. Even though it was Saturday night and I expected the price to be high, we paid just 760 pesos for 12 hours. The room was clean and spacious for such a low price, and their famous pancit canton was delicious.

The room had loads of space, and the water heater worked really well. Service could be quicker, though. Each time we ordered or requested something, it took around 30 minutes on average.

I had to spend the night here because of circumstances, but I don't see myself returning soon. Sleep was impossible with the AC humming and rattling like a beast trying to escape its cage. The linens seemed questionable, and the only toiletry was a small round piece of soap. The flimsy doors and lack of an extra inside lock also left me feeling unsafe. I might have put up with all that if the room had been really cheap, but it wasn't. I'd say Sogo is a better place to stay.

This isn't quite what I'd call a hotel. There's no lobby, and you can rent a room by the hour to enjoy on your own or with a group, two or more. Food can be ordered after some effort. If you really need a proper rest, people nearby might wake you during the night with their passionate activity. It depends on what you want to do in your room. For a quiet night's sleep, pick somewhere else. For pleasure, it's OK.
