The nice security staff and the low prices are why I can give this place a couple of stars. Some rooms also have lovely views and walk-out balconies. But after staying in several rooms here, I was told by a host that all the rooms have roaches. Those were the host's words, and I can confirm they seem to come up through the floor drains. I even saw one on the bedding, so I wouldn't leave bags on the floor. Rooms can seem tolerable at first, but look closer and the bathroom vents and AC filters appear never to have been cleaned. The caulking around the seals is sloppy. The hosts need to take care of maintenance and pay closer attention to the details. One last thing: MG quoted me 1000PHP for a room, and we shook hands on it in front of the security guard. When I came back with my bags to check in, she asked for 1200PHP and insisted that was the price. That was the last straw.

I paid for a room through Agoda, but when I arrived they claimed it was overbooked, even though the site still showed six rooms available. Then they offered me a room for an extra charge, more than double the original price, payable in cash. There are plenty of reports about this happening and no consequences, so it feels like a scam Agoda supports. Don't book here, especially through Reddoorz.

One of the more affordable places to stay in Makati City. We paid 1,500php for two walk-ins, though booking online might cost less. The room was spacious and had a smart television, refrigerator, and balcony. The AC worked well, as did the hot and cold shower and Wi-Fi.

Location is the one good thing about this hotel. The room smelled bad when I came in, and the pillows, sheets, and blanket did too. The blanket had a lot of stains, so I was really disappointed and figured they hadn't changed it after the last guest. There were also lots of little cockroaches on the floor, with some getting onto the bed. I asked for Wi-Fi and got a prepaid modem that ran out after just a few minutes, totally useless. I only stayed two nights and didn't complain, but I won't book here again.

I was sitting outside waiting for a delivery, and the guard kept bothering me. The day before, I saw a homeless person sit there all day without being bothered. Depending on which room you get, the stay may be okay, but the guard shouldn't hassle guests for no reason.
