The rooms are still decent, but the new management has taken away the friendly, home-away-from-home feeling we loved about Boracay Sands under the old management. The staff came across as cold and unwelcoming, like they weren't glad to see us. Lhoy was incredibly attentive and seems to be a carryover from the previous management. The rest of the staff could use hospitality training. At this price point, there are much better island options: Boracay Beach Club, Sur, White House, and Sea Wind.

We had a wonderful time here with family, and would definitely come back soon. The place is very nice for staying with family or friends, it's beachfront, clean, and has a pool. The staff are accommodating and polite, especially Darwin and Vanessa.

Ordering was fast and easy, and the communication was great. May Ann was very friendly, and the rest of the staff were kind too. The food came quickly and was delicious.

Our stay at Boracay Sands Hotel was enjoyable and felt like good value for money. Breakfast had a great range of entrees, including meat, noodles, fish, vegetables and soup, and the coffee was excellent. Staff greeted us warmly throughout the stay, and even brought complimentary coffee while we relaxed by the pool. The bed was cozy, the room was comfortable, and guests can get free water from the dispenser. A few things could be better. The lighting made both the room and toilet feel too dark, so a mix of warm and cool lights would help. There was an unpleasant smell from the pillows, and the room felt somewhat dated and in need of minor renovations. The coupon checks at breakfast also felt intrusive when staff came over to ask for our coupons. With a few adjustments, Boracay Sands Hotel could be a top choice for travelers.

Our family stayed here in 2022, just as the pandemic had started to ease. The room felt premium for a reasonable price, and the spacious balcony had a lovely scenic view. You can ask to have a family dinner set up there. Highly recommended.
