The staff are the main reason I’m giving this place five stars. They’ve been kind, respectful, and patient, especially the young woman at the front desk, who was a real superstar when I raised complaints. I’m still here on a five-night booking. On arrival, they greeted me with delicious lychee juice and have gone out of their way to make sure I’m happy. The hotel isn’t perfect, but it works for me. I chose a simple room without breakfast. It has a kettle and a small minibar fridge. They gave me a large glass jar to refill with water, and the clean-water stations mean I don’t have to carry heavy jugs. The water isn’t cold, but you can ask for ice. The shower is solar-powered, so the water wasn’t piping hot, though I got used to it. It’s quiet here, away from the noise and parties, and the hotel has a shuttle to D mall or the Savemore grocery store. I appreciated the ride when I arrived in pouring rain and needed food. You can also walk to everything. Boracay is a small island, so it’s possible to get around on foot. The online listing says beachfront, but the beach in front isn’t suitable for swimming. Bulabog beach is for kite surfing. It’s still a beautiful place for walks and watching kite surfers, and the water is lovely. This windy side of the island is a nice break from the heat. There were little ants crawling around, but they stopped coming after I used bug spray. Loud dogs barked late at night, early in the morning, and even during the day, which isn’t something the hotel can control. I was near staff housing, where the TV and radio were loud for a few nights, but the front desk fixed that after I complained. If you want luxury, this isn’t the place. If you’re not fussy and want a quiet place to sleep, I recommend this lovely spot.

After three months of touring, this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. We loved the rooms, the staff, the location, and the Wi-Fi. It’s right on a lovely, quiet beach. The busy area is about a ten-minute walk away, or three minutes by taxi. Next door, By Da Way is a fabulous restaurant with great food and fantastic burgers.

I stayed for four nights and found the materials and finishes to be very good quality. It felt like a hotel built to Western standards. The evacuation plan glowed in the dark, so it was visible without the lights. 👍 Breakfast was pretty good too.

We felt at home here. The ocean views were amazing, the breakfast was great, and there’s a free shuttle. The staff make the hotel, especially Arnel, Joven, Aj, Rose, Shiela, and Farlene. We’ll stay here again on our next trip to Boracay.

I loved how quiet the area was, exactly the kind of place I wanted. The breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were great, from the cleaners and lobby team to the people who prepared breakfast for all seven days. The shuttle driver was kind, always smiling, and dependable with our daily rides. My only issue is that there should be slippers in the room, ideally disposable ones. Apart from that, it was a perfect stay. I’ll definitely come back to AIRA BORACAY. 🙏
