The staff were friendly, and the price was very cheap, but that’s about the upside. The air conditioner quit on the first night, the shower never worked and leaked through the wall so badly that it filled a bucket, and the mini fridge was broken. The mosquitoes were hungry, too. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was very basic, but I was comfortable during my five-night stay, and the price made sense for what we got. The kitchen was useful since we cooked our own food, and having a mini fridge helped on a longer stay. The staff were friendly and the service was great, though a few things could be improved. ALAMO BAY INN Boracay is at station 2, D'Mall palengke. Ask the tricycle driver to drop you at THE CRAFTS, the grocery store, then turn left at the small corner by the entrance to D'Mall palengke. It’s a one-star property, so keep your expectations modest.

I asked Jeff for a different room or to speak with the manager, but there was no cooperation. The shower and an electric outlet were broken, the shower drain was clogged, and water was on the floor around the toilet. There were also huge cockroaches around the bed. It was a terrible stay, and it ruined my impression of nice Boracay.

The inn is only a few steps from the center of station 2, and the staff were really accommodating. I had fun staying there in Boracay, and it was handy that you could cook at the inn.

It’s close to the beach and fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep. The owner is a good Christian man. The room is simple, just a bed, but the TV reception is decent and Wi-Fi is free.
