The hotel and neighbourhood are quiet, and important shops and services are close by. You can get to either coastline quickly on foot or by tuk-tuk. The apartments are beautiful, designed and carpentered by the owner himself. I’d rate them as three-star hotel quality.

The rooms are really good for such a cheap suite. They’re air-conditioned, and the sofa, bed, and toilet are all great. There are also big bottles of shampoo, handwash, disinfectant, and alcohol, plus a bidet for cleaning. You get a fridge, glasses for coffee, a heater, and a built-in cabinet. The crew who helped us were welcoming and accommodating, which was great. If you’re looking for a place to stay, give it a try.

It was probably the biggest room I’ve stayed in during all my travels in Asia, and the price was great. The staff were friendly and amazing. The beach, whether at the stations or on the other side of the island, was a short walk away, and Andok's and other food spots were close too. The AC was ice cold, the large shower had hot water, and there were no insects. You have to return the key whenever you leave, which seemed weird, but by the end I had no qualms about it.
