The air conditioning worked really well, but the rest of the stay wasn’t relaxing for us. We traveled with three seniors, and the uphill approach plus another set of stairs down to the rooms made getting around tiring and difficult. The walkway was also very dark at night. Staff felt impersonal. At checkout they asked for the keys without asking how the stay had been. My niece arrived the next day, and although her ID had already been submitted, the way they reacted made it feel like her being there was being questioned. For context, my husband made the reservation and I stayed as his accompanying guest. Google lets guests who personally stayed at a property leave reviews.

The housekeeping lady, whose name I don’t know, was such a warm part of our stay. She smiled, greeted us every day, and made sure the room was in great shape. We’ll honestly miss her. My husband and I spent almost two weeks at Amihan Home Boracay, and it really did feel like a second home. The room stayed clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The place was peaceful and pleasant, and the location made it easy to get to Boracay’s beaches and activities while still giving us somewhere quiet to rest. Thanks to the team for being so welcoming and providing good service. We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back. We’ll recommend it to friends and family visiting Boracay.

The little climb on the way there is worth mentioning, though it wasn’t anything too difficult. Dakong Amihan Home was still quiet and peaceful despite being right in the main area, and the beach was only a short walk away. The internet was good too, so it worked well for working from home and taking Zoom calls without noise getting in the way. Comfortable stay if you want both calm and beach access.

We chose Amihan-Home mainly because it has a shared kitchen, and that was a real plus since my partner likes to cook. It was nice to have home-cooked meals again. The rooms are roomy, bright, and airy, and can be serviced daily. Staff were approachable and knew their stuff. There’s a laundry, market, and mini mart nearby, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the main beach and entertainment areas. They provide water and beach towels too. Good value, with a homey feel that’s a bit different. I’d stay here again.

The hill people mention in other reviews didn’t seem bad to us, though it might be harder for seniors. The location is right on the main road and just a five-minute walk to the beach. We really liked how spacious and peaceful the rooms felt, and the backyard was lovely and relaxing. Staff were nice, and our bed was made each day. The dogs staying there were cute and never bothered us. Great for a couple, and I’d highly recommend Amihan.
