Bale Mi Resort

The room was clean inside, and the hotel, which is actually a home stay, seems relatively new. That's about the only positive. Everything else was awful: the staff were untrained and rude, especially Jade. It's in a completely isolated, dark location, particularly at night, and there's no safety at all. Everyone leaves at 8pm, leaving guests to manage on their own. There's no restaurant, bar, or even coffee, and nothing outside nearby either. Getting a tricycle or other transport at night is hard, and you can't even order food through GRAB. It isn't cheap, either. For another $30, you could get a beautiful beach resort hotel with everything around you, including a buffet. AVOID.

The room was huge and peaceful, but it was the kind service that really stood out. They even mailed back some things I'd left behind. I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely come back. God bless this business.

The room looked newly built, and it was cozy and clean. I especially liked the bathroom, with separate cubicles for the shower and toilet, plus a powder room. Security was very good and modern, and guests with room keys can also open the gate, which is locked at night. Staff were lovely, especially the manong, who helped right away when I needed to borrow a flat iron and my friend needed an apple charger after hers broke. There was no extra charge. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, a bit far from the beach and crowded establishments, but that also means less noise. You can get some exercise walking, or take a tricycle. There are restaurants and other places nearby. We had a very nice stay, and I'd stay at Bale Mi again if I come back to Boracay. I'd recommend it too.

Bulabog White Beach was nearby, and the setting felt peaceful while still being convenient for getting around. I loved the tropical feel, with palms, greenery, and the sound of the waves. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely views in the morning. There were hundreds of restaurants within walking distance, and we had a sunset-view Martini at Epic Restaurant right by the ocean without needing a reservation. The staff were warm and attentive, and door-to-door airport transfers were included. Balemi Boracay exceeded my expectations. I’d happily come back.
