The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the bedding was made up. The resort is beachfront and accessible, but it was too noisy for us, with drunk passersby still making noise after 10 pm. Thin walls and doors let in a lot of sound and made sleeping difficult. The blankets were very thin too. Amenities were sparse: no drinking water for guests, very thin towels, no indoor slippers, no dining table or chairs, and no hair dryer. I had to request a kettle separately, and drinking water had to be bought. Nothing was included to eat. Staff weren’t very accommodating. No one offered to help with luggage or explained what to expect, which isn’t great for first-time guests. We had booked two days in two different La Fiesta rooms through Agoda. The first day was a balcony-view room, then we had an inner-property room the next day. We had to pack in the morning and leave our bags at reception because we had activities scheduled during checkout. That part was expected, but after leaving the balcony room, we noticed nobody else was booked there. It would have been more comfortable if they’d offered to let us stay in the same room rather than switch when it was available. There was no dedicated security, the doors had single locks, and there was no safe in the room. The windows were blocked from opening from outside with a pipe placed inside. Compared with our other accommodation and what we expected from a resort at this price, it was poor value. We only moved because we wanted to try different stations.

The beach is very close, and from this strategic spot it was easy to enjoy the beach and sunset without much crowding. The main road for transport is only several meters away. Staff were attentive, and the property has a large front yard. It seems like a good place for families.

We spent most of our holiday in the apartment because the beachfront view and convenient location made it easy to stay in. It was quiet, close to shops, and had easy access to the main road. La Fiesta Resort Boracay is in Station 1. Erika and her team were easy to deal with. The setup is more like a typical house, which suited what my family wanted. If you’re looking for a hotel-style experience, this place may not be for you.

Lovely views in the morning and at sunset.

The rooms were clean, the price affordable, and the staff easy to approach.
