Marzon Beach Resort Boracay

I loved the peace in Station 3, where it wasn't too crowded, and there was a great restaurant next door to try. We could use the free beach sun chairs, which were welcome for relaxing. I was lucky to get an upgrade to beach-view room no3, with a terrace where I could sit and watch the sunset and sailboats pass. The room was nicely decorated, though the pillows were a bit too hard. Music from next door carried into the room until sunrise, which was the downside. Breakfast at the little café was great.

Room 112 was a complete mess, and I would avoid this place. We booked a superior double, but it was nowhere near superior: two beds with no headboards, very dirty walls marked with black, rust in the toilet, and cracked small panes in the shower glass. Maids didn't come unless we specifically asked. Reception wasn't good either, and although breakfast was included, there was no choice, just something put on a plate. We also stayed at the marzon in kalibo, which was ten times better. Great location, but the room was terrible.

Marzon is right on Station 3 beach, and the location is phenomenal. The room was clean and matched the photos, though the bathroom is a bit old and could use renewal. Two clubs beside the hotel play music on some days. It didn't bother us much, but it's something to keep in mind.

Station 3 is quiet and peaceful, and the rooms here cost less than at other beachfront hotels. Ours had everything we needed and was clean, with basic amenities and a hot and cold shower. The bidet was especially important to us. No complaints.
