Pinnacle Boracay

We had a pleasant stay at this well-maintained hotel, where the staff were very friendly. Our fifth-floor room had a balcony and sea view, though the hotel itself doesn’t face the beach. There’s a free shuttle to nearby attractions and a reasonably priced paid shuttle to and from MPH airport. Camille deserves a special mention for taking care of guests with a smile.

The sunset views from the penthouse were lovely, though there’s another hotel between it and the beach, so it isn’t beachfront. Since there are no sunbeds, you’ll need to find your own place to sit. We enjoyed our stay, but the room was pretty bare: we had to ask for both a hair dryer, which I think should be standard, and an iron. I also found it odd that there were only two double beds and no king bed option.

The beach below the hotel is magical, and it’s only a two-minute walk away. There’s also a handy shuttle into the center. The place is new, the service was even better than expected, and all the other facilities were perfect. We did have ants in our room, but the staff sorted it out right away and moved us to another room. Their “gym” made us laugh. It was a room with two yoga mats and a few dumbbells, though that’s enough to move around a little. The staff were sweet, and it was a great way to start our vacation. Highly recommended.

The walk between the rooms and White Beach is under 100 steps down a steep staircase, with a footwash at the bottom. Getting from the main road to the rooms is a short, well-lit, paved 100-meter walk, though it’s steep too. We had no trouble, but I can see it being harder for kids and seniors. The free Pinnacle ride to D Mall was quick, with very little waiting. Our room was spacious, with chairs and tables as well as the bed. The pillows, towels and blankets were nice, and there were hangers and some clothes space, though no cabinet. A kettle and mini fridge were in the room, and water dispensers were in the hallways. The aircon was cold, and I liked having different lighting options. The staff were friendly and even helped with my friends’ birthday surprise, putting a personalized video on the TV and bringing a slice of cake. A few things could’ve been better: we only got two towels at a time, and the “spa” was just a room with massage beds, which was disappointing. We only used housekeeping once, and it felt mediocre. Some things weren’t fixed and the trash cans weren’t emptied. Our room had no balcony, so our towels and swimsuits didn’t fully dry. We didn’t order any food or drinks, so I can’t comment on those. Would stay here again! 😊
