The Sitio Boracay Villas and Suites

The location was great, within walking distance of the beach, and there was a pool open until around 10-11pm. A rooftop cabana gave us somewhere to relax away from the beach or street. We stayed on the fourth floor and appreciated having two beds and four pillows. The shower was the main issue. Water pressure was very weak compared with the other places on our trip, and there was little to no hot water. It was still good for the price we paid, but if I wanted this same area, I'd look at a couple of other options before Sitio.

We were assigned one of the Villas, which seemed suited for six people, though there were three adults and one toddler in our group. My daughter had fun in the pool, and we found the Villas okay overall. The Filipino breakfast was good, and the coffee was too. The woman at reception was very accommodating and let us check in early when we arrived ahead of time. The staff were helpful, and the place was worth the price. It's easy to get to the main road and beach. There's a sari-sari store nearby for water, soap, and other basics, plus a 7/11 along the road. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and quiet, just right for sleeping after a tiring beach day, and the place was good value. Staff were friendly, approachable, and very accommodating. The beach and "Willys rock ( the groto)" are close, so the pool area being under renovation wasn't a big deal for us. They should update the booking site to show when amenities like the pool are under renovation, so guests know what to expect. Their Google map location should be corrected too, since it sent us to the shore when the hotel is on the opposite side of the road.

It's at least a one-minute walk to the beach, and being a little removed from the noise and crowds suited me. Willy's Rock, a famous Boracay landmark, is nearby, though reaching good bars means a long walk. The online photos make the hotel look much better than it does in person, but it was acceptable. A few details to know: breakfast is room service, not a buffet, and you need to order the night before. You can eat it on the rooftop, as in our photo. WiFi only works at the lobby/reception, with none in the rooms. During your stay, rooms and towels are cleaned only on request, and you'll need mosquito repellent lotion. The heater didn't work on our first day, but maintenance responded quickly to our complaint and fixed it right away.
