Turtle Inn Resort

For a budget trip, it's handy having cheap eateries (carinderias) along the way to the beach, which is very close to Station 3. The family operating this resort gave very good service, and the rooms were spacious and quiet, with shampoo, soap, big beds, and comfortable sheets. Each room has a small or large balcony with outdoor seating. Very good value for money.

Once we got to the inn, it was peaceful and away from the crowds of Stations 1-3. The managers or owners were very kind and accommodating. The rooms were okay, and when one of my friends asked to switch rooms, they helped us without a problem. The air conditioners were old and took time to cool the rooms. At first, we had trouble finding the place. The streets leading there were narrow and a little muddy, and mosquitoes were biting us. My friends and I joked, "tipid pa kayo sa location ah" and "That's the cause of finding cheap hotels." Great value for money.

The resort workers treated us like family and looked after every little detail. They even helped me fix my crochet one piece. For a quieter night, choose one of the standard rooms. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, had the amenities we wanted, and looked out over the garden-like resort. It's in Station 3, close to most restaurants in and out of the Stations, and the locals around there were really nice. They also offer free coffee in the morning with everything you might want to add.

We visited the Turtle Inn in February 2023. It's well located, away from the noise of beach party nightlife. The place is very nice and well run, but what stayed with me most was how the manager helped when I got sick and urgently needed a doctor. She accompanied me and made sure I got help promptly. I can't describe how warm and caring she was. Later I learned that a few days before I got sick, she'd taken a girl who had burned herself to a doctor. Apparently it's quite common for her to drop everything to help her guests like that. Knowing someone will take such care of you gives you an amazing sense of security. If I return to Boracay, I know where I'll stay. I'll book earlier so I can have my whole stay at the Turtle Inn.
