Good value for the price, with a hotel restaurant and other decent food options nearby. The bar stays open late. Rooms are large, and adjoining ones are available for bigger families. Each room comes with two free breakfasts. The hot shower works well enough, at least some of the time. Air conditioning and a TV with HBO and CNN are included.

The gym was meant to open at 9, but it stayed locked because the only person with the fitness center key was late for work. I waited 20 minutes, then left. Total incompetence. Avoid at all costs.

For a place to relax and swim in Butuan City, I’d try dottie's place or The Almont beach resort. Both are much better.
