The staff were especially helpful, and getting into the city center was easy, either by walking or hopping on one of the many pedicabs passing out front. The rooms are clean and roomy, with a proper daily cleaning. Wi-Fi can be unreliable sometimes, but the 4G signal in the rooms is strong. They provide water, tea, and coffee, and there's a restaurant on site.

The staff were caring, the room was tidy, and parking was neat. It's away from the noisy, busy part of town, and the food was good. The air-conditioner drips water onto the floor, though that should be easy to fix. The price is reasonable, and I had a very good stay.

I've stayed here twice, four nights in March and five in April, in different rooms. It's quiet, secure, and far from the city, with very good food. The serving staff are friendly and happy to suggest dishes. Housekeeping was excellent, but there are only bath towels, no hand towels, so you have to use those for everything. Getting water, soap, or shampoo from the front office can be slow unless you're there with your wife. The toilet water is salty and cloudy, and the plastic shower heads are in awful shape from the salt water. There's barely any shower pressure. No bidet spray either, so you have to use a mug. The front office and maintenance both need to improve.

After a tiring field job in Caraga region, it's nice to come back to this warm, cozy place. The local and international food choices are great, and the staff are kind and hardworking. It's still my favorite hotel in Butuan City for a modestly priced stay, and it feels like a home away from home.
