The Harvest Hotel Managed by HII

The rooms have an older feel, but the internet worked and room service staff were very friendly and accommodating. I found this a cozy place with clean rooms, good food, and excellent staff. It wasn't what I expected from a 4-star hotel, though it provides the best customer service in the area, even with customers who have trouble communicating. The pool and outdoor seating were relaxing. There's a main park nearby for a walk or exercise if you skip the gym, and the mall is about a 10-minute walk past the park.

We all had a wonderful overnight stay with my family. I love the food, and it was nice to see new menu items. The staff were so accommodating and the service was top-notch. Poolside breakfast buffet is a favorite, and you really get your money's worth.

The breakfast buffet was lackluster. It was okay, but not worth ₱500 for an extra adult or ₱299.50 for a child, and even the omelette wasn't good. At checkout I mentioned, rather than formally complained, about scratching and tiny footsteps with long nails coming from the bathroom around 4 to 5:30 a.m. I think there was a large rat in there. The front desk just said “Ah okay” and radioed housekeeping to check whether we'd stolen or stained anything. No one urgently checked for a rat or got a manager involved. I wasn't asking for a discount, but the way it was handled was poor. The staff seemed like newbies and need proper training. We were also mistakenly told by the front desk that we had to change rooms on the second night, even though someone had assured us the day before we'd stay put. It was a hassle and stressful. The room felt old and dilapidated, like it might have been built some 30 years ago, with only basic amenities. Light came through the window because the curtain was too short and wouldn't close all the way. It was so bright and glaring that we couldn't sleep in a completely dark room. Stay away from room 107. Service was okay.

It was quiet with a good atmosphere, and the service has been great both times I've stayed. Breakfast was good, just short on choices. The aircon didn't cool the room during my stay, so it got a bit hot at night. Still had a good experience and will definitely come back on my next vacation.
