Bridge Hotel Express

We booked Bridge Express Hotel from 28/September to 01/October, but cut our stay short and left because the experience was unacceptable. I had made it clear when booking that my 75-year-old mother has chronic rheumatoid arthritis, yet they put us on the third floor of a building with no elevators. It was heartbreaking to watch her struggle on the stairs. We politely asked for a lower floor and explained why, but our request was ignored. The staff member, Winshie, was rude and dismissive, and reception showed no kindness or empathy toward my elderly mother. Parking was terrible, and staff were inattentive to guests' needs. From start to finish, it was a nightmare, with no sense of customer service. The service was appalling, the staff lacked professionalism, and the whole stay was deeply disappointing. Don’t waste your money or time here.

The rooms are okay for the price, and there are fast food places nearby. The bathroom is small, and there’s no elevator. They’re strict about late checkout, so plan ahead.

The staff were nice, and I’d still recommend this clean hotel in central CDO. My only issues were the shower area: water spills onto the floor by the toilet and sink, and there were lots of mosquitoes in the room.

There were plenty of sockets around the room for plugging in electronics, and the rooms, bathrooms, and other facilities were clean and well maintained. They also have brewed coffee available at any time. The building looks a bit old outside, but the interiors are fine, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is right in the city center on a street corner with cars always passing, and there are lots of nearby places if you need anything. I wish there were an elevator for travelers like me, so the security guard wouldn’t have to help every guest carry luggage upstairs. Our car was parked on the side of the street, which gave us some security concerns. Still, I had a good stay and will definitely come back next time.
