New Dawn Hotel Plus

Breakfast was okay, though it's more geared toward Filipinos. They have white bread, but the choices to put on it are peanut butter or eggs. If you ask, they'll fry an omelet for you, and it's delicious with vegetables inside. It's a good hotel, but we missed having fresh shampoo and soap in the room each day. When you ask the room cleaners to bring something, they always forget.

The location may be the only good thing here. I wouldn't pay even half the price for this stay. At check-in, the receptionist stayed on her phone and couldn't be bothered when I said hi. The room was underwhelming, with towels that looked close to turning brown. My wife started itching when she lay on the bed, so after dinner we asked reception to change the sheets. They said it would cost an extra 150 PHP. We agreed, waited until we fell asleep, and nobody came. There was no TV remote either. I went downstairs to ask for one, and again nothing came. The Wi-Fi was useless, I couldn't even do my own business. Staff don't even greet you here, and a smile and hi go a long way. I've never left a review on Agoda before, even for the best places, but this annoyed me enough to write one. Save your money and find somewhere else.

The location is nice, so the place has potential, but the upkeep and cleanliness were disappointing. I booked through Agoda. The bed made me itchy and the linens didn't seem properly cleaned; the floor and toilet also looked old and poorly maintained. I hope management improves things.

The towels were old and worn out, and the beds were itchy. My wife asked for replacement linens and agreed to pay P150, but they never brought any. When we arrived, the reception staff ignored us and focused on their phone. Just stay away.
