Pearlmont Hotel

It's very close to LIMKETKAI.

The food was tasty, especially the savory soups, which had a nice spicy kick, and I loved the binaki snack and the tsokolate. A few of the cups were chipped, including mine. The lobby seemed to work more as a restaurant than a place to receive guests. I only saw the parking in front of the lobby, so I can't say much about parking overall. Traffic seemed light, or moderate at rush hour. I’m new to the city and still checking out places people call heritage sites or CDO landmarks. This one has an old fashioned look, with wood decorations and soft lighting that give it a strong 1980s feel. It reminded me a little of the Manila Hotel's decor. Some function halls are old, small, and not well maintained, while most are spacious and have an elegant feel.

The rooms were fine, though noise from the main lobby came through since they aren't soundproof. Even so, I slept well and felt the stay was worth it. The AC was wonderfully cold, and the staff were accommodating. The location is a real plus, right in the heart of the city.

The pool was nice, and the staff were accommodating. One room I stayed in had a really bad smell, but the second room was much better. The rooms are dated but still maintained. Wi-Fi wasn't very reliable, and the restaurant food was okay, though a bit salty. I had a good short stay overall.
