We'd already paid, and they told us we could change rooms without any extra charge. At checkout they demanded a lot more money and made the whole thing complicated. Be careful, and make sure there won't be extra charges. The place was dirty, and the water smelled strongly of chlorine. We won't be coming back.

Dona Jovita is our family's favorite place to return to. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, with a nostalgic feeling that's just right for making memories. We couldn't ask for a better setting. Highly recommended!

Several pools and a range of rental cottages are spread around this spacious resort, with huge trees throughout the grounds and even treehouses. It's still within the town of Calamba. Before the pandemic, they also offered horseback riding, but sadly had to donate the horses away.

We had a great time. The staff and place were nice and accommodating, and they're pet friendly. The only issues I noticed were that there's nowhere to hang wet clothes except on the shower door, and the uphill route to the parking area is a little slippery. It's still just rocks without cement, so getting up or down could be hard in the rain.

Everything felt perfect from the moment we arrived at [Dona Jovita Resort). The property was beautifully kept, with clean rooms, lush gardens, and stunning views that felt like paradise. Mam Basty was really amazing, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Big thanks to them 🙏🏻
