We had hoped my father, who survived covid, could enjoy some fresh mountain air here. But people were burning things nearby, and there was a constant smell of smoke. He struggled to breathe whenever he went outside our room, so we didn’t really enjoy our stay.

We barely slept four hours because a dog kept barking and people were talking until the early hours. The surroundings also weren’t well maintained. We ended up checking out early and finding somewhere else to stay after a bad experience here. Inside, the paint was peeling and the walls were stained. The toilet had little or no water pressure, and the faucets, shower, toilet door, and main door lock were damaged. There was a gap under the main door, so we could hear all the noise outside.

We had a great time. Such a beautiful place.

The outdoor patio was a great place to sit, enjoy a drink or meal, and look out at the scenery. There’s also a small gym for guests who want to stay active. Our room was compact but clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and enough amenities for a short visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, too. Casa Robles is fairly affordable for its prime location, in a peaceful, beautiful setting where many rooms have lovely views of the surrounding area. I’d recommend it if you’re after good value and a nice view.
