I didn't think to take photos, but this felt like a little safe haven in a pretty decent part of town. Jeff, one of the security staff, was a gentleman, though I never felt I needed security. Everyone helped me however they could. I'd definitely suggest the Belgian to westerners looking for an immersion type holiday. 10/10. The street restaurant downstairs is great for dining, too.

The building seemed well secured, with several cameras along the corridors and balconies. Staff were friendly, and I was fully satisfied with our stay. The rooms were well lit, had enough outlets, and came with clean bedding and complete bathroom accessories. The towels looked as good as new.
