The room is small but really comfortable for me. I don’t like a lot of space when I’m travelling alone, so it suited me well. It’s budget-friendly for a short stay in Manila, with main roads, an LRT station, plenty of food options, and drugstores close by. The bathroom is well ventilated too. I’ll definitely book here again on my next visit.

The room was clean, but what I saw online didn’t match the actual room. The toilet area is tiny and far from the shower, with no faucet nearby, so there’s no easy way to clean up right away. Water from both the shower and faucet runs very slowly. It’s also not soundproof, and you can hear people shouting and talking in the lobby while they watch TV.

You can get public transport here anytime, including tricycles, jeepneys, and trains. The hotel let us check in early for 100peso per hour. We paid 400peso per night for an extra mattress since the queen bed wasn’t enough for three people. It’s suited to people on a tight budget. The shower heater, aircon, and TV worked well, but the window gives you no view, and you can’t open it to look outside. There’s no elevator or kettle, and you have to go to the second floor for drinking water. I’d avoid a room on the 4th floor.

It’s cheap, so maybe that’s part of the tradeoff, but I won’t stay here again. The location is bad, the air-con is very weak, and the receptionists are always watching videos on their smartphones. There’s no elevator, so don’t book the 4th floor or above.
