Citystate Hotel Quiapo

Decent place, but the service was bad. My friend, who is gay, and I were stopped from checking in just because we’re of opposite sexes. Maybe they thought we were planning something inappropriate, even though we both have our own relationships. Friends who checked in before us didn’t get the same treatment. They should cut down on this kind of attitude toward customers. It was embarrassing.

The location was perfect, and breakfast was included with room service. For the price, it was worth it. Cleanliness was about 80% good, considering the hotel's age. Service was in line with the hotel's star rating. I was satisfied overall.

There was an AC problem, but the staff were really good at finding solutions. They were super nice, especially kuya wearing blue and the other staff. Wishing you all abundant blessings 🫶🏻 I don’t usually leave reviews, but the customer service was top notch, so I wanted future guests to know.

The staff were all superb, friendly, and accommodating, and the location was fantastic, near the church and restaurants. We had a small drink, and the sisig was amazing. The hotel warned us about the shaking, and we felt it as we were going to sleep. We laughed, and it was okay, like being cradled to sleep. For the price, the deluxe room was okay. There was free water at check-in, the aircon worked perfectly, and the hot and cold shower was good. WiFi was a bit slow. The towels and pillows were old, and one extra pillow cost 25php. There was nowhere to hang clothes, and the blankets were literally bedsheets.
