I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't rate the rooms. I just stumbled across the restaurant and bar. The bartender/server was really friendly and welcoming. I went back to Slouch the next day instead of trying somewhere new, and I'm glad I did. The daily special was meat pies, and the chicken curry one was excellent. The day before, I'd had the chicken schnitzel special with a free drink. It was hot, tasty, and a decent portion.

The ribeye was excellent, and the internet was fast enough for me to catch up on video uploads. I stopped in for dinner and had a nice time. Good food and good vibes if you're in the Ermita area of Manila.

It was so quiet, with just one other customer at the bar. I had a beer, then a vodka and coke. Service was fine, but there wasn't anything to keep me there, so I left. My first stop on a long night of (mis)adventure.

Good food, good service, and very reasonable prices. No frills. One of my favorite spots for dinner and drinks.

There’s a nice bar, restaurant, and cafe downstairs, and Intramuros isn't too far away. My room was clean and quiet, and the service was good.
