The hotel was just so-so, and the rooms didn’t look as good as the photos, including my friends’ rooms. What really ruined it was the noise. Staff seemed not to care that guests were trying to sleep. I was woken at midnight, then couldn’t sleep until morning because people were laughing and chatting loudly in the hallway. Walkie-talkies there were intrusive too, loud enough to wake you even when you’re lying still or asleep. That’s unacceptable. I get that people can be loud, and laughing and joking is fine, I enjoy that too, but guests come here and pay to sleep in peace. Be wary of low prices on AGODA, like $0-$4 for few days or something like that. I checked with friends and found those offers just sit waiting for approval, then a few hours later the “owner” hasn’t accepted them. We tried several times using different accounts. Don’t trust AGODA.

We had no good options when my husband and I checked in. We’d come from Hagonoy, live in the South, and I needed somewhere to stay because my remote shift was about to start. They insisted on cash, refusing card payment even with the terminal right in front of them. They said it was “cut off,” but I wasn’t convinced. The area also felt unsafe, with people staring at us and our belongings. I needed a place quickly, so we had to put up with it. The smell throughout the place was awful, like a used toilet. The only room they said was available was a “VIP” room, Room 603, but it didn’t look VIP or match the advertised theme. It felt haunted, and the bed was stiff and uncomfortable, the worst we’ve rented so far. There was no receipt, no card payment, and it seemed they were charging VIP rates for what was actually a deluxe room. I’ll never stay at Astrotel again. Swear!

I think they have themed rooms, like Captain America and Iron Man, and I’m looking forward to trying them. The rooms are very nice, the staff are friendly, and the food tastes good. I’d recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

If you’re looking for a cheaper room, you could try this hotel, especially for a short stay. The rooms aren’t spacious, but they’re okay for a little while. The crew are accommodating and moved us when we reported problems, though each visit came with something not working. First time, the TV and telephone were out. On our second visit, the shower didn’t work, and the replacement room had a broken air conditioner. So, it can be good for a staycation, but we’ve run into small issues every time.

At Astrotel Monumento, check-in was quick and smooth. The front desk was efficient and welcoming, and I was in my room within minutes. They even gave me a welcome drink. The lobby was clean and well kept, so my first impression was great. So far, so good! #travel #AstrotelMonumento #hotelreview
