Sky Garden Hotel By Reddoorz

We had a comfortable stay, with spacious, clean rooms and plenty of parking. The decor has a timeless feel. It’s right in the heart of Roxas City and good value for the budget. Renovations are underway, including work on the rooftop Sky garden, which should make stays more enjoyable.

There was nothing fresh or original about the seafood, and the surroundings were horrible. Roxas has no proper public transport, just thousands of very loud tricycles, and there were no cafes or restaurants. Our street-facing room was super noisy. Inside, rainwater flooded the floor, the toilet had been clogged by previous guests, there was no shampoo, and the TV had no remote. The room was large and the AC worked well, but it was noisy too. They list it as a RedDoorz property, but there were no signs of the brand or its service standard. The Trip com listing felt very deceptive, especially since there’s an actual RedDoorz property right across the street. This is the worst place I’ve visited in the Philippines so far. I hope I never have to return. Total letdown.

Outside, the wet market and busy streets are bustling, but inside the hallways it was peaceful and quiet. It’s one of the coziest hotels I’ve stayed at in Roxas City.

The room was clean and cheap, so it was fine for one night, but I wouldn’t want to spend a vacation here. This hotel seems past its best and could use a renovation. Our beds were crooked, the bathroom door handle was nearly falling off, and the floor and furniture were damaged. The TV didn’t work, though that wasn’t really an issue for us.
