The owner even stayed up for our late check-in and was very accommodating. I booked here in 2025 because it’s an easy walk from Bancal Port, where the Gigantes Island Day Tour pickup is. The room had good AC, although the bathroom shower pressure was weak. We had a good stay.

The rooms are tiny for what they charge, and the shower sits over the toilet bowl. Our A/C didn’t work properly either, so I wouldn’t recommend this for a group. Cooking on their gas stove costs 150 pesos every time, even if you’re only making one egg. Those charges are too much, and we won’t be back.

The location is handy, about a five-minute walk to the port, and after 5pm there’s only one restaurant around. But the rooms are very small for P1300 a night. We felt 800-900 would have been fair, and there were ants in ours. The owner offered a tricycle ride to 7-11 for P300; we found another one for P120.

They do provide towels and toiletries, which is a plus, and the owners were accommodating. Still, I wouldn’t recommend it just for being near Bancal port. Our room was disappointing: small, unclean, and poorly maintained, with a broken shower valve, little water flow, and whitish tiles.

Bancal Port is close enough to walk to, which was the best part. We paid 1,200 for a room with two beds, one for two people and the other for one, so three of us could stay. It wasn’t very spacious. The CR was good, but the toilet had no flush and needed a pail of water, and the shower didn’t work.
