We spent three nights here, and the location is great. The rooms are nicely laid out, and the staff were attentive. We ate at the bistro, where the young staff were great, if a bit shy. The menu was a real surprise, with a bit of everything across multiple cuisines, and the quality was excellent. Their mango shakes are really good too, even if you're not staying overnight.

The beachfront setting, warm hospitality, good food, and relaxing feel made for memorable moments. I came away thinking of Riomana Villas Resort as a real gem in Davao Oriental, where nature's beauty comes with comfort and sincere service. It could suit a romantic trip, family time, or a solo retreat to reflect. The place stayed with me after I left. 10/10, highly recommended. If you're visiting Cateel, don't miss the chance to experience Riomana.

After driving all night in the rain and passing village after village hit by brownouts, we weren't expecting to arrive somewhere this luxurious or be welcomed so warmly. It's brand new, clean, and fantastic value. I can't wait to see the views in the morning.

I really enjoyed how the staff treated us, and the price felt worth it. The laksa limak was especially delicious, with incredibly fresh seafood, and the chicken curry was so good, a solid 10/10. This is a great resort if you want to relax and switch off for a while. Thanks, Rio Mana Villas Resort, for a lovely experience. If I get some free time, I'll definitely come back 💙

The location is good, and the service is excellent. The staff were very accommodating, but the food just wasn't worth the price. The chicken curry came 30 minutes after the rest of the food, and it was mostly bones with hardly anything to eat. The fish and chips arrived with rice, just two pieces of fish and a few fries.
