Davide was a patient, reassuring instructor and explained what we could improve during our dives. We did four dives at Turtle Island to complete our Open Water Padi, and he pointed out fish and corals along the way. We even spotted a turtle on the last dive, and felt we were in safe hands. The beach was wonderful and the welcome was warm, but the place is extremely remote and we almost couldn't find it. There's not much nearby, nothing was complimentary for the price, and everything seemed marked up. You'd need to be rich or have extra money saved for a stay here. For that price, I'd rather stay at Boracay.

There were six families of us staying for three days for my son's first birthday, and we hadn't realized a typhoon was due the next day. When it came, the other guests cancelled, so it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves. The storm didn't disrupt our stay because the resort and staff were prepared. We felt safe, and they kept us informed about what was happening and what they planned to do. The food was superb, even though the choices were limited because of the typhoon. We celebrated my son's birthday the day after it passed, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating that we really did feel as if the entire resort was ours. We had a fun, comfortable stay, and I'm very grateful to the resort and its staff.

We came here to finish our Open Water Padi, with four dives at Turtle Island. I was nervous, but Davide was so patient and reassuring that I felt we were in safe hands. He explained what to work on and made the dives fun, pointing out fish and corals as we went. We even saw a turtle on our last dive. Thank you!

On our latest visit in October 2025, the resort was busy for peak season, but it still managed to accommodate everyone. The first day was rainy, then the weather turned bright and sunny. We got the last available room, though, and it hadn't been renovated. It was a bit dusty and the sink smelled unpleasant. There were also lots of dogs around, and plastic bottles and other debris on the shore made swimming difficult. The beach could use more regular cleaning. This was our third time at Punta Bulata. We first came in 2018 as a couple and loved how quiet, romantic, and charming it was. We took many photos that we still enjoy looking back at. In July 2024, we came for my birthday. The weather wasn't great, but we still had a wonderful time. By then the rooms had been renovated and the formerly rough road to the resort had been paved. Even with the issues this time, I'd love to return. I hope the remaining rooms are renovated and the shore is cleaned each morning so guests can enjoy the beach.

We spent a couple of nights at this beautiful resort with family and friends, and used it as our base for the tour to danjugan island. It was a lovely place to relax.
