A&A Plaza Hotel

There were some positives: the airport transfer was free, and the janitorial staff were helpful and friendly. But the receptionists at check-in were loud, laughing and talking like they were in a market. That was especially annoying for guests waiting, given how strict the 2:00 PM check-in time is. The Wi-Fi was slow, breakfast was poor, and the busy street made the rooms noisy. The room also showed signs of age. Lost keycard costs 500.

I booked one night and check-in was fine. My room was the last one by the street, but the noise wasn’t a problem. If you’re not fussy about the bed, bedding, or dust, it’s passable. The bathroom was a decent size, though it had a smell at first. Breakfast was included and the receptionist said it was buffet style until 10am. I came down at 9am with the other guests, but there was no food left, so they served plated breakfasts instead, with few choices. The Wi-Fi was fast enough at night but very slow in the morning. The location is good, a few minutes from the airport, with multicabs and tricycles nearby.

There’s a dining facility and complimentary breakfast, plus round-the-clock security and excellent shuttle service. The rooms and lounge areas are comfortable, with hot and cold showers, cool air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and a TV with streaming services. Definitely recommend it!

The floors and our room were peaceful and quiet, even though the hotel is on one of the busiest roads. We also loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were, and how they responded to our questions and concerns.
