We hadn’t meant to stay at the hotel, we’d booked an AirBnb apartment in the building. It was in an “interesting” state and we couldn’t move in, so the AirBnb owner apologized and arranged a double room at the hotel as compensation. The room was okay, with comfortable beds, a hot shower, and great Wi-Fi. But over our three-night stay there was no room service at all, so we even had to buy our own toilet paper. The worst part was hotel staff trying to make us leave every day, or asking for extra money, despite the owner’s arrangement for us to stay all three nights. It made the experience awful. We’re not sure if they were trying to get extra money from tourists. We had to fight for our rights, which was upsetting. The hotel itself is in a great location and the facilities are worth the price, but they need to improve how they handle customers. Three stars for the hotel, one for the way we were treated.

It’s a great deal for the price, with nice rooms and good amenities: a pool, in-room refrigerator, electric kettle, and comfortable beds with four pillows. The staff are the best in the area, especially Eugene, the front desk manager. It’s also handy for Robinson Fuente, Mango Square, and plenty of public transportation.

I booked a package at this hotel through airasia, but when I arrived, management turned me away, saying they no longer accept airasia bookings. The hotel is still listed on airasia snap, even now. I also still haven’t heard back from airasia about this, despite emailing them and sending complaints.

The location is central, with a local mall and good food within walking distance. A Grab to the nearest mega mall costs about P90, and from the airport it was around P180. I stayed in an Airbnb here. It was cheap, with good aircon, nice views, and friendly staff. There was no hot water, though I wasn’t expecting any.
