The fast Wi-Fi was handy for my research, and I could connect as many devices as I needed. My room was roomy enough for one person, with a new air conditioner and a very clean bathroom, though the shower had no hot or cold option. The receptionist and security guard were both polite and kind. I also felt safe at Elicon since visitors can only stay in the lobby and aren't allowed up to the rooms. I was very happy with my stay and will keep it high on my list.

The hotel is in a great spot for exploring the city on foot. San Pedro fortress is about a 15-minute walk, and the bus station is around five minutes away. The place has an original, eco-friendly feel, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was clean and had the air conditioning you need. Breakfast there was good value, too.

The rooms are spacious and affordable, the staff are accommodating, and security is tight. You can't bring outside food without paying a 500 corkage fee. Their restaurant only opens for breakfast, and the water dispenser has no hot water. There aren't any known fast-food places nearby, with 7-11 possibly the closest, but there are plenty of eateries around.

This was my second time staying at Elicon House. The rooms are a decent size for such a low price, and the Wi-Fi is good. We enjoy the cafeteria food, especially the stuffed eggplant. Cable TV is there too, and the whole place has a rustic, earth-friendly feel.
