The staff made our stay especially warm, from check-in through check-out. Thanks to the breakfast restaurant and reception teams for being so friendly and energetic. We loved the plated breakfasts, with both American and Pinoy-style options, and everything was delicious and satisfying. It wasn’t a buffet, and the meals were served with warmth. Our room was cozy and beautiful, with shell-inspired pillows and calming coastal decor, and the underwater-themed breakfast restaurant added a special touch to the mornings. It was a bit far from the pool, but the resort provided a shuttle back and forth without complaint, which made things easier. The pool beside the beach was our favorite spot, and my family loved swimming there. Our mermaid souls felt happy and free. The peaceful ocean views made the moments feel extra special. Maayo Argao has a Moroccan scenic style that made it feel like a dreamy seaside oasis, with thoughtful, aesthetic details everywhere. Everything felt relaxing and heartwarming. We left with lovely memories and grateful hearts, and would love to return.

We celebrated my birthday here, and it was our first stay at the resort. My family and I had a great time using the amenities, especially the pool games with prizes and the cocktail booth. We also loved the Filipino dinner buffet and breakfast buffet, with every dish delicious. Thanks to Maayo Argao for accommodating us and giving us such an enjoyable stay full of good memories. I’d recommend it to families looking to relax and spend time together.

The guest rooms are a bit of a distance from the main restaurant and pool, but there’s a shuttle. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the main area’s architecture and pool were very nice. Breakfast was tasty and was even brought to our room. We also enjoyed the burger, salad, and choco oreo shake.

We came for an event and had a great experience overall. Service and food were okay. The kids got to swim afterward, so it seems they don’t close the pool area.

The rooms are very far from the pool access, and caddies are hard to find. We rented a place for a Christmas party, but at 8 pm a guard called us mischievous for having a sound system. If you don’t want guests to have a once-a-year party, don’t open as a hotel. Our night was ruined. The kiddie pools have no lifeguard, and when one parent lets their child play alone, it automatically makes me, a parent with my own kid, responsible. No thank you.
