Palm Grass Hotel

The staff welcomed me with a smile and quickly showed me to my table. They remained attentive during the meal, checking that everything was served properly. I enjoyed the food, which was nicely plated, flavorful, and satisfying in portion size. Palm Grass The Heritage Hotel's restaurant also has a warm, cozy feel, with a Filipino heritage-inspired design in its decorations, lighting, and layout. It made for a relaxing, enjoyable meal, and I'd recommend it to anyone after good food in a cultural setting.

The calm, cozy atmosphere made breakfast especially pleasant, and the service was what I appreciated most. I arrived close to 10 AM, when the buffet was nearly finished, but nobody made me feel rushed. A server kindly checked whether I wanted anything else before they closed it and offered to help. The food was good and freshly prepared, and the servers were smiling, approachable, and attentive without hovering. I'll definitely come back.

The artwork around the hotel, showing Cebu’s history, adds a lot of character. I had a really enjoyable meal here, with great food and desserts, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. They made the experience feel welcoming.

The historic center location is great, and the staff are friendly, though they seemed inexperienced, almost like students working there. The food wasn't anything special, which wouldn't have been a problem on its own, but insects were crawling on tables and around the dining area, rooms, and lobby. There was no hot water, the air conditioning was bad, and the windows couldn't be opened. For three nights, noise from other rooms and the corridors kept going, and nobody reacted, so I couldn't sleep. The bathroom and room were both sloppy. I wouldn't give them 3 stars.
