Residenz Guesthouse

I got in very late after an international flight on Sept 27, 2018, and the staff were extremely helpful. The room was clean and suited my needs perfectly. I decided the next morning to check out early and carry on to my next destination, and the staff went out of their way to make that work too. Thank you, staff. I really appreciate the help.

It felt like being at home. The internet was fast, and hot and cold water were available all day, every day. There were mugs and spoons in the lounge that you could borrow, plus soap, shampoo with conditioner, and a dental kit at check-in. Hot showers were available too. The family deluxe room is very spacious. The twin room is quite small, with little room between the bed and cabinet. The standard room is spacious, though its bathroom is shared.

For the price, the room was nice, and the staff helped when I needed them. The location is out of the way, though. During Sinulog I needed a ride to the airport at 3:30am, and the hotel couldn’t arrange one. I’m very thankful to the kind man working there, who walked with me to the main street and helped me find a cab.

The fan room got too hot because it was on the building’s highest floor. We upgraded to an AC room, and that made our stay 100% better. Great service and location.
