Sarrosa International Hotel and Residential Suites

The room was nice, though a bit small, and the staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast was alright. I didn't get a chance to try the pool. A reasonable place for a night or two.

The staff were very nice and helped us with our bags, smiling through it all. The hotel is close to the airport and the Chabad House, and they upgraded us to a better room when we arrived. The shower smelled of sewage in that room. We asked to switch, and the next room was better, but the shower still had the smell, which got stronger as our stay went on. The rooms look a little old. It was a reasonable experience for a reasonable price, but no more than that.

We came in on an early morning ferry and paid 1000.00php for early check-in. In the first room, the tub drain was rusted off at the open-close connector, the floor drain was plugged, and the sink drain connector was bad too, though I managed to open it with force. Maintenance came, but we ended up changing rooms. It was 1pm and we still hadn't showered. In the new room, the safe was locked and wouldn't work. They came to fix it and found a dead battery. I asked for my 1k early check-in payment back and was told no, it had been paid. After we'd been out from 230pm until 8pm, I had to call again to get the safe battery replaced. Then I sat down to relax and found the TV was pay to watch. We'll be buying land in the Cebu area and coming back regularly, and our friends will visit too. I won't recommend this hotel to any of them. What a hole. I so wish we'd stayed somewhere better. This place sucks so bad.

I've stayed here before, but this was the first time I was treated like that. The guard assumed I was a bori with my Korean friend, who'd had a lot to drink, so we decided to book a nearby hotel. He disrespected me until I paid for the hotel with my own card. You need to do better and treat your customers with the utmost respect!
