The water pressure was so low that a proper shower was difficult, and getting our luggage to the room was inconvenient because there’s no elevator. Breakfast was poor quality with very little variety. We stayed five nights after reading the positive reviews, but the room wasn’t ready when we arrived. Once we finally got in, the sheets and pillowcases had visible stains. Staff said they couldn’t replace them because there was no fresh linen available. They promised to change everything the next day while we went on a tour, but when we came back nothing had been done. It was frustrating after we’d already raised the issue. Based on our stay, I’d take the negative reviews seriously and look for somewhere else.

We didn’t stay. We checked out and left straight away, though we lost our money. The rooms looked dull and dark, and the place didn’t look recently renovated as we’d been told. There’s no lift, although they did offer to carry our bags upstairs. The room had a kettle, but no tea or coffee, and we were told we had to buy those at reception. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for families.
