Uncle Toms Cabin Hotel

We stayed for a week during the Christmas season in 2025 and would definitely come back. It was worth the price, in a good area, and the service staff were great. We had a Suite with a clean, spacious living and dining area, and the cleaning staff did their best to keep everything tidy. Shoutout to Hazel, Anthony, and Mylene. The room seemed to be missing some furniture, including a dining table and chair. The toilet was quite small and cramped, and shower water splashed over more than half the floor.

This is my usual hotel in Cebu when I travel solo. The room is clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

A quiet budget hotel that includes breakfast, in a safe location. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Malls, a hospital, eateries, and public transportation are all within walking distance.

The location made me uncomfortable. The hotel is at the end of a dead-end street off the main road, and it’s dimly lit. Barking dogs on the way to the entrance scared me enough that I always took a taxi, and I didn’t feel comfortable walking back, especially after dark. The restaurant also isn’t available to hotel guests when it’s hosting an event. The room was incredibly cramped. With my luggage open on the floor, I could barely move between the bed and bathroom. There was no luggage bench, and no table or desk, which isn’t surprising given the lack of space. The shower pressure was so weak it barely got through my hair, making showers frustrating, though the sink pressure was fine. I also saw a cockroach crawling on the floor once, and had to get rid of it.
