Well Hotel Cebu

I arrived around 2 AM for a walk-in booking but didn’t get checked in until about 3 AM. They knew I urgently needed a room because I had work at 6 AM, yet nobody told me beforehand that generator maintenance was scheduled early in the morning and power wouldn’t return until 4 PM. I’d paid in advance for two nights, but they offered neither a refund nor any courtesy for the disruption. Very disappointing.

We usually choose this hotel in Cebu for its location, but the rest of our experience was bad. The room wasn’t maintained: there were ants near the bed and mold in the bathroom. Wi-Fi was very slow, and the TVs weren’t smart or equipped with basic apps like Netflix and HBO. For a 3 star hotel, we expected more. Even condo Airbnbs are better. The service was poor as well. Nobody told us in advance that we couldn’t extend our stay, and finding another hotel was difficult because places were already fully booked. When we raised the issue, they even tried to tell us we had booked for one night, although we’d clearly said five days and might extend because our flight schedule could change. We had less than 12 hours to find somewhere else, or they were going to force us out. If they’d told us sooner, we could have found another place quickly. A truly bad experience. I’d suggest looking for another hotel in the area at a similar price with better facilities and service.

We had an easy time from arrival to departure. Check-in was smooth, the staff were friendly and helpful, and checkout was quick. Our clean, comfortable room had the basics we needed for a short stay in Cebu. Cogon Ramos is convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to get around. Free self-parking and Wi-Fi were a nice bonus. A few small improvements would help, but this is a practical, comfortable option if you don’t want to spend too much. For one night for two adults, prices usually start around ₱1,490-₱1,500+ before taxes and fees, depending on the date and booking platform.

Good value, with very clean rooms and an accessible location. Booking a room was super easy and fast!
